Alan Sonfist: Queens Museum Show

June 26 – October 9, 2005

27 of the original 50 proposal drawings for Alan Sonfist’s Time Landscape project are on view at the Queens Museum of Art in Queens , NY as part of the exhibition Down the Garden Path: The Artists Garden Since Modernism curated by Valerie Smith. The show will be up through October 9, 2005. Later this summer, a catalog for the show will be published in which Smith interviews Sonfist and declares that Time Landscape is “the first urban earthwork of its generation”. The show was reviewed by the New York Times on July 29, 2005.
